Bump Style- What I’m living in lately

To be honest with ya’ll, I’ve never worn dresses more than I have the past 8 months. Now, other than the scrubs I wear to work, putting pants has literally been the last thing I’ve wanted to do throughout my pregnancy. The mere thought of it makes me cringe.

Thankfully, I’ve found some pretty basic dresses that work- and most importantly WON’T BREAK THE BANK! Pregnancy is a 9 month journey, so I’ve refused to buy anything maternity. I just honestly don’t want to spend money on something that is only going to last x amount of time. Instead I’ve decided to order dresses that will still fit me post having a baby!

With the exception of ordering a few oversized band tees (which I would have ordered oversized anyways), I’ve gotten away with ordering normal clothing thus far and with only 2 months to go- I think that’s pretty damn good! Read below for all my bump style favorites that are literally hanging in my closet as we speak!

AND if you’re not expecting, these are some great basics to stock your closet with as well!

+ Cotton on Midi Dresses: I literally have one in every color. They’re so comfortable and accentuate the bump perfectly!

+ Long Sleeve Maxi Dresses: See above. I’ve grabbed a few of these in different colors as the weather gets cooler for winter!

+ Short Sleeve Midi Dress: I’m a big fan of longer dresses as the weather cools down, because I’m definitely not switching to pants any time soon!

+ Short Sleeve T-Shirt Dress: Okay, hands down these are my all time fav. I have 4 of them and will definitely be buying more. They’re loose fitting and super soft. On those days where maybe I don’t want my bump to be front and center, these are what I’ve been throwing on!

+ Adidas Stan Smith Sneakers: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I absolutely love these shoes! They’re so comfortable!

+ Adidas Edge Lux Running Shoes

+ Steve Madden Mules: I have these in both black leather and leopard print and love them so much.

+ Converse Low Tops

+ Nike Air Max Sneaker

  1. You and I have very different styles! I totally support your thought of not buying clothes to only wear for a limited time, though I will will admit: I’ve never been pregnant, but I own a handful of maternity tops. 🙂
