Happy Friday yall!!

Okay, if you follow either of my IG pages (@mrsamandafranco // @withamandafranco), you’ve probably noticed an increase in sponsored posts lately. Your girl has been working!!!!!

I first wanted to take a second to seriously thank anyone who has interacted with those posts. I’m not sure why, but I think sponsored posts get a bad rap and for whatever reason, people are turned off by them and then choose just to ignore. Which I also get because I do feel like my entire IG feed used to be almost ALL ads, so it can get a little exhausting for sure. I’ve since used muting and IG’s new features that have helped filter out all of the things I’m just not interested in seeing, which I recommend you also do!

That being said, if you do follow me and interact with my sponsored content- thank you! It helps when my community shows up (especially on those posts) and allows me to grow my page and have opportunities to continue working with brands and building partnerships!

When I get sent things from brands, I do test them or try them on (if it’s clothes) and if I don’t like the product, I send it back and we don’t collaborate. If I don’t think the clothes are quality clothing, I send them back. I can’t tell you how many products- lotions, makeup, etc that I’ve sent back and then just apologized and told the brand it wasn’t a good fit. I want this community and my friends and family to trust what I’m recommending, and that means being honest which can be hard to do for sure!

This blog is a creative outlet for me, I have a full time job, so you can trust that I’m not taking money from brands just for the sake of being paid. I know that might sound harsh, but I want to be transparent.

The brands and people I’ve been working with, I genuinely love and believe in and would honestly create content for them for free (that’s not how the world works lol, but you get the point!)

Anyways, I just wanted to round up my thoughts on that and thank you all again for being so supportive of my page and my little corner of the internet!!
