WildRide for a Wild Ride!

You may have noticed if you follow me on Instagram (@mrsamandafranco), that on our most recent road trip to Zion, we started using a new baby carrier to help us carry our son!

He’s going to be 2 next month and has just about outgrown his current front facing harness that we’ve had since he was a newborn baby. He’s also just not the biggest fan of it in general anymore. We knew we had to use it for some of the more strenuous hikes we went on just because it was overall safer for him, but for the in between moments and just quick trips off/on our bikes or to/from the car to hotel and vice versa, we were really searching for something easier and quicker to use. Then came Wild Ride Carrier!

After looking at their Instagram, I knew their swing carrier was the perfect answer. My son is what I like to call “koala baby.” He loves to be held and specifically likes to be held on my hip where he can see all the action and literally direct me with what direction he wants to go. It’s his preferred mode of travel and I absolutely love it. I love having him close and was hoping to find something that would do just that, support my carrying him in that way.

When the company sent me one, I was SO HAPPY for the opportunity to work with them and give the carrier a try in real life.

After first use, I was sold. It is literally so easy to just sling over your shoulder and then swoop over your little one. You do need to keep one arm around them supporting their bum, but the swing acts like a hammock and really relieves the weight off your arm from carrying them normally. It’s also great because your other arm is completely free!

My son loved it and could not even tell he was actually in some form of a harness, which was a relief because we’re definitely at the stage where he refuses to be restrained in any way (the car seat is a fun time lol).

I’ve already started using the sling for grocery runs and farmers markets and will most definitely be taking it to Disneyland on our next trip!

If you’re a family/parent on the go, I cannot recommend this carrier enough! It works from 9 months to 4 years old (or 44 lbs)! Definitely making it a product you’ll get some wear and use out of!

Go to www. wildridecarrier.com to shop your own! They also have so many colors and prints, the leopard print one is SO cute as well!

Can’t wait for our next wild ride with our WildRide carrier!
