We spent Memorial Day Weekend in Palm Springs! My favorite zoo, The Living Desert is in Palm Springs so it’s always a priority to stop by there! Especially now that we have Avery, she loves it! If you have little ones, I definitely recommend it! You can read more about it and even watch an old Palm Springs vlog here (which I wrote in 2018!!) Because Joey had to work, we only spent Sunday-Monday in Palm Springs, but I’m going to list some fun things to do down below, some things that we got to do this trip and/ or we’ve done previously if you’re looking for things to do in Palm Springs!

What To Do
+ The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens : Check their website for hours as they frequently change, and double check times for giraffe feedings so that you don’t miss it! They only do it certain hours of the day and usually always in the mornings/early afternoons. Even if you don’t have kids, it’s worth a visit! We went well before we had our daughter! It’s definitely fun for the whole family!
+ Palm Springs Aerial Tramway : I did this for my bachelorette party and it was so much fun! The ride up is a little scary if you’re afraid of heights, but the views from the top are definitely worth it! Also, if you’re planning a bachelorette or a girls trip, here’s the post on my bachelorette party full of all our stops!
+ Lay by the pool : it’s a little pointless to be in Palm Springs if you don’t take advantage of the heat and have a little R&R by the pool!
+ Drive by the Elvis Honeymoon House : Unfortunately in 2020 the house was sold and no longer offers tours of the house, but you can drive by it and see the beautiful design of the house from the outside!

+ Cabazon Dinosaurs : We finally stopped here on our way home! We needed a little pitstop to let our daughter stretch her legs and this was the perfect stop! You can walk around and inside 2 of the larger dinosaurs (the 2 you can see from the freeway) for free, but you have to pay if you want to have the full experience and go through their little dinosaur museum.
+ Palm Springs Art Museum : A nice way to beat the heat!

Where to Eat
+ Kobe Japanese Steak House : a Benihana-esque teppan resturant!
+ Wilma & Freda’s : a fun old school diner!
+ Norma’s : super cute vibes and delicious!!
+ La Serena Villas : the cutest little bar/ appetizer spot! Went for my bachelorette party and it was beautiful and so fun!
+ The Farm : famous for brunch and AMAZING!!
+ Las Casuelas : delicious Mexican cuisine!

Shop Summer Fun for Toddlers (everything I brought to Palm Springs)
+ bathing suits: one, two, and three (my daughter’s favorite)
+ floaties : perfect for pool/boat/kayak summer days!
+ water shoes (lots of prints) : super important for kids transition from pool to concrete, especially when the ground is super hot!
+ sunblock (this is our favorite for kids)
+ sun hats : I buy these every summer in different colors!
