So since our wedding, I’ve been making a lot of smoothies around here. We got a Ninja blender and it’s SUCH an upgrade from the Nutribullet we used to have. It blends everything into such a smooth texture, which makes adding things like spinach and kale much, much easier.
When I’m making smoothies for both Joey and I, this is my go-to and honestly favorite recipe. Joey is picky and doesn’t like a lot of fruit/veggies mixed in, so this is a pretty simple recipe (to say the least). I’ve linked the specific proteins we use down below as well!
Peanut Butter + Banana + Collagen+ Protein Smoothie
1 banana
1 scoop peanut butter
1 cup chocolate almond milk
1 scoop chocolate whey protein
1 tbsp chai seeds
handful of ice cubes
Sometimes, I’ll sneak some spinach in there as well! Throw all the ingredients in the blender and you’ve got a pretty amazing smoothie if you ask me!
