Boo Baskets for Girl & Boy

I literally look forward to this time of year the entire summer. I’m even MORE excited for October this year BECAUSE we’re going to put out our Halloween tree for the season FINALLY! We bought a black faux christmas tree 2 years ago for my daughters Nightmare B4 Christmas birthday party, and we used it during the Christmas season because her birthday is in December and then last year, we didn’t end up using it at all because the week of Halloween we went to Disney World so I didn’t feel like getting it out would be all that worth it if we weren’t even going to be home for Halloween. SO all of that to say, this year it is making it’s Halloween debut!

October 1st is on a Thursday this year and while I usually like having the kids boo baskets downstairs and waiting for them on the morning of October 1st, we’re going to delay just a bit. My plan this year is to put the Halloween tree up on Friday (10/2) at night while my kids are sleeping, and then when they wake up Saturday morning, they’ll come downstairs to the tree and their boo baskets and some pumpkin pancakes!!

I feel like that’ll be really special and allow them more time to enjoy the morning and their goodies instead of doing it quickly before rushing off to school. If you’re a parent, you know how chaotic the mornings can get. So that ‘s my plan!

Here are the boo baskets for this year! The beginning of the year, I made a pledge to be more minimalistic with things so these are pretty simple (I think). My daughter is in a big K-Pop Demon Hunters phase, so a lot of her goodies revolve around that.
