I am so happy to finally announce that I’m partnering with Little Spoon and am officially part of the Spoon Squad!
After spending a few months sampling their products, I cannot say enough good things about them! If you’ve never heard of them, let me tell you a little bit about them!
Little Spoon was founded in 2017 and is a “baby to big kid” nutritional company that focuses on fresh, clean-label ingredients and strict safety standards that test for heavy metals and toxins. They produce everything from smoothie pouches, baby blends, biteable snacks for first starting solids with little ones, lunchers (kinda like lunchables), and full balanced meal plates! They literally have a list of over 100 banned ingredients that you can read on their website. I know I’ve talked about this probably repeatedly at this point, but I started out this year really cleaning our home of toxins and applying that to any and every aspect I could, starting with food was a no brainer.
I wish I had learned about Little Spoon sooner because I would have had their baby blends filling my fridge for when I first started my son on solids! It certainly would have saved me a lot of time and effort!
What I love about their products- their pouches especially (my son loves them), everything has to be refrigerated. Which lets me know that they’re using actual real ingredients and not pumping their foods with something to ensure it has a long shelf life. Think about it- if a pouch contains a bunch of blended up fruit and vegetables, what else is in it that’s allowing it to sit on a grocery store shelf at room temperature for who knows how long?!? That always kinda gave me the ick to be honest.
Another little fun fact- they abide by strict heavy metal testing and follow European Union benchmarks rather than the minimums set by the United States. This was intriguing for me to learn because having come back from Europe, I could immediately tell the difference between our food here and there. I seriously survived off pizza and pasta and didn’t once feel sick or “stuffed” the way I realized I was feeling every time I ate pizza or pasta here at home!

Also, as someone who solo-parents 4 out of the 7 days in a week, I’ll be the first to admit that some days the drive thru is just something that happens, especially as a working mom. Some nights after rushing from work to school pick up, the last thing in the world I want to do is cook and then spend the remainder of my night (you know after the bath and bedtime routines for two kiddos), doing dishes. BUT now, thanks to Little Spoon I have a healthy and quick option that takes the place of that drive thru! Which seriously gives me so much peace of mind and makes me so happy to be doing something better for my family.
Both my daughter and son LOVE the mac and three cheese meal plate, as well as the chicken nuggets! And what’s great about the meal plates is that they are completely balanced meals!

My daughter has been in summer camp this summer and one of the more annoying parts (for me lol) is that I need to pack her a lunch everyday. I’d say about 80% of the time she actually has not eaten anything I’ve sent- and mind you, it’s usually always what we ate for dinner the night before, so I know I’m not packing things she doesn’t like. Anyway, a few weeks ago, I started sending her with Little Spoon Lunchers- which are like the lunchables I grew up with, just 10000000x healthier! And for the first time, she started eating her entire lunch!
Her favorites right now are the easy cheesy pizza and the chicken dunkers! If you have a little one heading off to school this year, DEFINITELY check out the lunchers!

I can’t say enough good things about Little Spoon and I’m excited to share more and more over the next coming months! I love a company with a good mission, one that supports families especially, and their bottom line is much like my bottom line when it comes to what I’m feeding my family.
“We’re on a mission to nourish babies, toddlers and big kids—setting the table for a lifetime of healthy habits from day one. We support families by never asking them to compromise, because when it comes to the food that fuels your family, “good enough” isn’t good enough.”
