Something that has rung true between both my pregnancies is the desire to avoid wearing any type of pants. I have a few pairs of maternity leggings that I’ve been wearing when it is cold outside, and of course my scrubs for work are maternity scrubs, but I really, really prefer NOT to wear pants whenever I can lol. There’s something about the tightness around the waste band that really bothers me when I have a humungous belly. SO, as with my last pregnancy, I’ve been living in dresses and skirts as much as possible.
And today I am going to share with you 3 of my favorite looks so far! All of which can be worn #beyondthebump!
Let’s start with my Easter get up! This was the perfect set to wear to church on a rainy Easter Sunday morning. The set is so soft and the skirt has enough stretch to accommodate the belly while sitting down and while standing. I’ve already worn it twice since then and absolutely love it. Next, I’m going to pair it with a graphic tee for a more laid back look!

Next, let’s talk about my baby shower look! This dress was so comfortable and HAD POCKETS! That’s a win-win for me! I loved the detail in the floral pattern, I chose to wear it for the baby shower because I thought it went well with our cowboy/western theme and I loved the fact that it was brown with flowers that had blue, purple, and pink in them- a nod to baby boy on the way and then a nod to our beautiful princess as well!

This last look is a silky maxi dress that would also be perfect for a baby shower, gender reveal, or holiday party! It is so comfortable and also has pockets! The sleeves can be worn up or off the shoulder as well! I love the angled cut of the bottom of the dress, which makes it move really nicely in person!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I hope everyone is off to a great start this week!
