Last weekend we had our baby shower for baby boy! Technically, I guess it should have been a sprinkle, but I had a “drive-by” baby shower with my daughter thanks to COVID so I didn’t get to experience your standard baby shower so I was intent on having one this go around!
We originally planned to have the shower at a park down the street from our house but the weather was so unpredictable and all over the place as far as whether or not it was going to rain on the actual day of our event so we last minute decided to host the shower at our house– which was nuts because I wouldn’t really call our house 100% ready to host something, still have some work to do since moving in, but it worked out!
We had so much fun having everyone over and celebrating together, scroll through for all the fun decor and I’ll link everything at the end!
As with every party I throw, the desserts were all made by my best friend and Avery’s Godmother. She really knocked it out of the park, especially with the little cow cupcakes! They were SO CUTE!

When we had our little drive-by shower, we used that to announce baby girls’ name and we did the same this time. We had a sign made that had his name for everyone to see 🙂
We hung it above our welcome table, where we had little popcorn party favors for guests, brown bandanas for everyone to grab and wear, and for our “guest book” we bought a little cowboy hat for everyone to sign, which will hang in baby boy’s nursery soon!

I made the graphics for all the signs on my computer and printed them out to frame for the tables. For center pieces for the seating tables, I printed baby pictures of Joey and I and also used ultrasound photos of baby boy!

My girlfriend already had all the brown bottles, and we bought the hay bails, dried wheat grass, and horseshoes from Amazon (linking below).
We had a “game table” set up with jenga, dice, coloring pages for kids, and fabric pens for everyone to decorate a bib for baby boy! We also set up some lawn games on the drive way as well.

We also had a little drink station set up and of course had to have your standard “don’t say baby” pin game ready to go!

For the backdrop, we set up two boards and I made the balloon garlands the day before!

It was such a fun day, we had Stone Fire BBQ catered which was absolutely delicious! And served lemonade and sweet tea to really complete the western theme of the shower!
I had so much fun throwing a little cowboy themed party and I’m still listening to my Boot Scootin’ Baby Shower playlist, it might be my favorite party playlist I’ve made to date!
