One of my goals for 2026 is to be less wasteful. And that’s something I’m trying to apply to just about everything. When it comes to making cute thing for the kids, there are some things you just can’t skip out on, some of the cutest things are little seasonal trinkets that make the holiday special, but in addition to those types of things, I’m trying to keep other goodies more versatile and aligned with long term use and things the kids actual need anyways.
My daughter has her class Valentine’s Day party next week and we went to Target to buy some Valentine’s but she didn’t actually like any so I let her pick some off Amazon and we went with these! Which are so cute! I don’t like doing candy for cards, so this cute little hatching egg was perfect! We’re very much still in our unicorn era so it’s unicorn everything over here lol.
Here’s what I got for the kids goodie baskets!

Avery’s Basket
+ floral pink dress (obsessed with this and thinking she’ll even wear it for Easter!)
+ Welcome to Valentine’s Town book ( twist on Nightmare before Christmas)
+ swimsuit 1 & swimsuit 2 (my daughter needed some one pieces for swim class and I wanted sleeveless so it’s easier to shower after class!)
+ Judy Hopps tonie (this is like a joint gift because my son loves tonies as well)
+ cake puzzle (my daughter loves doing puzzles and I found this one in the Target Dollar section)
+ heart gel clings (also a Target Dollar section win)
+ paint your own heart photo holders

Jaxson’s Basket
+ Mickey Mouse Valentine’s Day pjs
+ Marvel I Love You 3000 book (this hasn’t arrived just yet, but should in time for Valentine’s Day!!)
+ A Spidey Valentine’s Day book
+ I love you This Much Disney Baby book
+ pizza puzzle (a Target Dollar section find for little guy although chances are pretty high that his sister will steal it)
