Over the past 6 months I’ve been kinda crazy about swapping out anything “toxic” when it comes to cleaning products and things in our home just in general. I’m going to do a breakdown of some swaps we’ve made room by room below!
Kitchen
+ Koala Eco Fruit and Veggie Wash : I’ve been buying this and washing all our fruits and vegetables with it prior to putting them away. I can’t recommend this enough, I used to just wash everything with water, but after soaking produce in this, you immediately see how much dirt and dust can linger on the food without being properly washed!
+ Koala Eco Multi- Purpose Cleaning Spray : I usually rotate between this and the Mrs. Meyer’s brand that I’m linking below. I order the Koala Eco from Amazon and usually realize I need more when it’s too late, so I’ll run to Target to get the Mrs. Meyer’s brand in the meantime!
+ Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Dish Soap : the rain water scent is my favorite.
+ Mrs. Meyer’s Multi-Purpose Cleaning Spray : for this, I really like the lavender scent.
Bathrooms
+ Koala Eco Bathroom Cleaning Spray
+ TOMS natural toothpaste for kids
+ Dr. Brown’s toothpaste for babies
+ Papatui products (body wash, deodorant, face wash) for men : Joey recently switched to this brand (it’s Dwayne Johnson’s company) and he loves it, we buy everything from Target.
+ Roe Wellness SPF 50 face powder for kids : swipe this across my daughter’s face every morning. It’s great because my daughter is really into makeup and she feels like she’s getting her face powdered every morning.
Bedrooms
+ dyson air purifier : we have this in our bedroom and run it during the day usually.
+ WINIX air purifier : this is in my son’s bedroom.
+ Homedics Ultrasonic Humidifier : this is in my daughter’s room but we only run it if we feel like she’s getting sick.
+ Ultrasonic Cool Air Humidifier : this is in my son’s bedroom. we also only run if we notice he’s a little congested. the cloud shape is so cute too for a nursery!
