My daughter officially starts TK next week and I am freeeakkkinnnggg out to say the least. She’s so excited and that’s been such a relief for me. She’s going to an entirely new school from her preschool, but luckily her little girl gang is staying together and her two besties from preschool are also going to the new school, so the fact that they’ll all have each other is very comforting (and if I’m honest, the fact that us moms will have each other too is a big win for me lol).
I just got the supplies checklist from her school so we’ll be going back to school shopping this weekend, I’ll put together a LTK link for it all afterward. It’s pretty generic so I don’t necessarily feel like a whole blog post is warranted. But I am excited about that! I always loved back to school shopping as a kid!
We have a little ice cream social later today for her preschool to say farewell to teachers and the other friends who aren’t switching schools for TK but of course, I can’t let a milestone go without doing a little something special.
We’re throwing little miss a mini graduation BBQ party this weekend just with the grandparents. I’m not doing anything too big but I did order these cute things from Amazon!

I’m going to make a simple, brown paper sign to hang in the kitchen and then that’s it!
She also got a pretty cute custom backpack from her surrogate grandpa, which she picked patches for too, so this weekend, we’re also going to be customizing her backpack and getting it all ready to go as well!
