We recently started to update our playroom space to make it more functional and tailored to Avery getting older. Here’s all the new changes (so far), we’re planning on getting a tv hung up soon!
Linking everything I can below!

+ the wooden ruler : my husband bought the plank of wood at Home Depot and then measured and painted on the “ruler” by himself. We have Jaxson and Avery’s heights written on, along with the dates they were measured as well as ours, we’re going to measure them every year!
+ white bookcase/shelving unit : bought from Amazon and then bought the wooden baskets from Target! This storage unit is great, it isn’t too tall so Avery can easily reach all of her coloring books and toys herself!

– I threw all of Avery’s magnatiles in one of the wooden baskets and in the other are all her marble run tubes/accessories. In the white pull-out drawers, I threw all of Avery’s flash cards and sticker pads.

-behind the chalkboard door, I have all of Avery’s tea party things in their respective boxes, and then I bought another wooden basket from Target to store all her legos (she has the ones that build the Disneyland castle, complete with Mickey, Minnie & friends!)

I should mention that my husband measured the length of our wall and the length of each piece of furniture to make sure that everything would fit.
+ white kids desk with chair : bought the spinning pen holder at Target, along with the white little containers for coloring pencils.
+ hammock : found this on Amazon and thought it was a cute way to display *most* of Avery’s stuffed animals.

Inside her desk cabinet, she has containers full of markers, chalk pens, crayons, coloring pencils, and dot art paint pens! In the drawer of her desk, I have plain printer paper because she loves to draw her own pictures.
The space is really coming along and now that it’s more usable, we spend a lot more time up here playing! It’s been really nice!
