Okay so I feel like I came up with a major mom hack here. Get yourself a big enough bag that it can double as your purse & a diaper bag!! With my daughter, I carried my own purse AND a diaper bag for her wherever we went, and that was a PAIN. When she was older and I no longer felt the need to carry a huge bag everywhere with us, it was such a relief for me. This go around, I’m using the LV Neverfull as my diaper bag and using the attached little pouch to hold my own personal things- chapstick, ID, cards, and my phone! Carrying one bag has kept me sane to be honest with ya’ll.

For Baby
+ diapers & wipes (duh)
+ extra onesie
+ sun hat
+ texture toy
+ socks for baby
+ spit up cloths (linking similar options)
+ cool towels : these are great since it’s summer and really hot!
+ extra swaddle : to use as shade cover / blanket
For Mom
+ wallet
+ chapstick
+ hand lotion
+ hair tie
And there you have it! For whatever reason, I think I carry a lot less with me than I did with my first baby. But I do now also have a loaded first aid kit in both cars so that things like Neosporin, Benadryl, thermometers, and band aids are with us everywhere we go.
