I mean, really, I’d like to just say plan a trip to Disneyland and that would about do it for me, but since that’s likely not everyone’s idea of a dream lifestyle (which is weird) I’ll give some other ideas 🙂
+ simplify : I mean this in every aspect of life. I find that when I’ve got too many things going on, I don’t end up enjoying anything because I’m preoccupied or stressed about the next thing. Simplifying plans or everyday tasks has really helped me to stress less and keep a manageable amount of work on my plate.
+ prioritize : especially when you’ve got a deadline or a lot of things going on- whether it be at home or at work. I always prioritize and allot certain time to certain things, which definitely helps me stay focused on completing what I need to before getting sidetracked by something else.
+ communicate : learn to communicate and be open with how you feel to those around you. And be firm and stick to your boundaries, even when it’s hard!
+ find “you” time : I’ve definitely gotten better at this, this year but even throughout all the chaos of a busy schedule, you’ve got to make time to do something that purely sparks joy just for you. For me, it’s giving myself 30-45 minutes to go for a run 2-3x a week, carving out time to do a face mask, and then of course my nightly 30 minutes of reading (which lately has been like an hour of reading because I can’t put the book I’m reading down! It’s so good!!)
+ plan activities : I find that having fun things to look forward too not only makes me more productive on the days leading up to the activity, but I’m also always wayyy more productive afterward, especially if we’ve planned a vacation or road trip! It’s nice to have something to look forward too and also to have some time to destress and disconnect from your mundane routine for a little bit.
