Over the weekend I got to help one of my girlfriends throw her daughter’s first birthday party and it was so much fun. I have a serious addiction to planning parties and think it’s just so much fun to do. We started planning a few months ago and everything came together perfectly! After weeks of gloomy weather, the sun finally came out and it couldn’t have been better with the theme being “First Trip around the Sun”

Kids Table :
+ ONE paper plates, cups, napkins
+ wooden rainbows : these I bought at Target and painted myself!
+ macrame runners : a girlfriend of mine made these for my wedding years ago and I’ve used them for so many things since! I cherish them so much! I’m linking a similar option here and you can also check out Etsy for other options!
+ sunshine stickers : okay so funny story here- my girlfriend bought these for the kids table to throw down the middle, and without realizing, noticed some of the stickers were actually a little explicit (photos below) which was actually pretty funny and definitely created a moment we’ll never forget! So if you purchase these, purchase at your own risk lol.
High Chair Decor :
+ balloon garland, 1-12 month photo display, high chair skirt : this is the kit my girlfriend bought, but we only used a few of the things it came with.
Popsicle Stand :
+ sign I bought for my daughter’s second birthday party and just painted over it
+ ice chest was borrowed from my girlfriend’s friend, but linking it!
Goodie Bags :
+ gift tags : I custom made!
+ white party bags : my girlfriend filled them with fun sunglasses, candy, chalk, and bubbles for all the kiddos!
With this party under my belt, it’s on to the next one! I unintentionally have occupied all of my free time with party planning for the next few months and I am in no way mad about it!
